Lemington FC Lemmings

Lemington FC Lemmings evolved from our Lemington FC Ladies team. When the team was first set up in 2024 - we used Lemington Ladies as the team name. Since we have made a push this season (2025/26) to have a competitive women's team, a name change was required to help differentiate between the recreational and competitive sides. 

The decision was made to have the competitive team as the Lemington FC Ladies - and the recreational side adopted a new name and badge, the Lemmings! 

Based in the West side of Newcastle, the Lemmings are a recreational group of girls who play football for the aim of the game, fun! These sessions are brilliant and such a good way to meet new people and get fit while doing it. You will learn new skills and get the chance to take part in games against other recreational teams and tournaments from across the North East. See some statements from some of our current girls:
